How eSIM Works
Your device contains an eUICC (embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card) — a secure chip that stores connectivity profiles. When you scan a QR code, your phone downloads an encrypted profile from the provider's server to this chip.
With Dual SIM, your phone runs both your home SIM and the eSIM simultaneously. Your home SIM handles calls and SMS; the eSIM handles data.
Step-by-Step Activation
Purchase a European eSIM Plan
Buy online. Receive QR code by email immediately after purchase.
Open SIM Settings
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add SIM.
Scan the QR Code
Display QR on a separate screen. Scan through SIM settings. Requires internet connection.
Enable and Configure
